Privacy Policy

The short version

WordSeeker does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking. Your progress stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account, where we can't see it.

Data stored on your device and in your iCloud

Your level progress (the words you've found, stars, best scores and times) and your settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is also synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service, and your theme colour, days played and weekly Star Race stars through iCloud key-value storage, so your devices stay in step. That data is held by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and 4RT Limited has no access to it.

You can remove all of the app's data by deleting the app and its iCloud data in the Settings app under your name › iCloud.

Word meanings

When you touch and hold a word to see its meaning, the definition comes from the dictionary built into your iPhone. The app sends nothing to us.

Purchases

Levels 1–15 are free. The optional one-time purchases (Unlock 100 Levels and WordSeeker Pro) are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment, and we receive no payment card or personal details. The app only checks with Apple which purchases you have.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, your star totals, furthest level, play time, days played and achievements are sent to Apple's Game Center so they can appear on leaderboards and to your friends. This is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we don't receive it. You can turn Game Center off in the Settings app.

If you choose to see your friends on a leaderboard, iOS asks whether WordSeeker may access your Game Center friends list. It's only used on your device to show their scores next to yours, it is never sent to us, and you can change your answer in the Settings app.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking code, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
